What's so special about Bremerhaven...?
Since I went digital nomad and started seeing the world and visiting UNESCO world heritage sites, I've gotten the impression that the criteria for becoming one such seem to be getting more and more loose by the year. Much like the criteria for whoever gets inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
However, I do think that that Wadden Sea low tide we're talking about in the video was a pretty unique sight.
So, with this also officially being a travel blog and all, I hereby recommend visiting the coastal area around Bremerhaven. Specifically, we were in this cutesy little village called Wremen. Nothing happens there except for those tides, but it's nice and quiet except for the odd church bell and ditto foghorn. You won't regret spending a relaxing weekend there, like we did. Just maybe go outside high season, because those parking and camping spaces looked like they'd hold too many family vehicles for comfort.
See you in Poland in a coupla weeks!
