So we're in this LAND that's ICY...
Yes, here it finally is: Our long-promised destination that's the opposite of Egypt. And while that means it's cold as fuck, this place has the most wicked nature I've ever seen. Volcanoes, lava formations, mountains, caves, waterfalls, glaciers, blizzards, black beaches, steaming sulphur lakes, hot springs, geysers (wait for the eruption in the background!), and diverging continental tectonic plates – among others. (At the time of shooting this, we haven't seen any northern lights yet, though).
Staying in this here icy land is expensive, but it's well worth it in
terms of wicked nature experiences. The locals are also cool and
down-to-earth – and, indeed, unlike Egypt (and, for that matter, Jordan or Morocco), they don't consider you one
big, walking pile of cash. Furthermore, it turns out the capital has a
nice rock bar, name of Lemmy (not to be confused with the one in Málaga
or Bratislava).
With that, our warmest recommendations for this here lil' icy land (yeah, okay, it's Iceland).
