Greetings from Marrakesh!
Three weeks down, one to go. Here, you can get a bit of a hint as to why I'm kinda waiting this one out rather than downright enjoying myself:
As I'm saying, though, it's not all bad. The Bahia palace and the Jardin Majorelle are worth a visit, and you'll find some cool excursions on Tripadvisor. And street food is hella cheap. But then again, those are pretty much the only redeeming factors that come to mind. Apart from the nice weather, maybe.
... But then again-again, January does get down to only a coupla °C in the mornings here, so don't expect much in the way of heat if you go here trying to escape more northern latitudes during winter. In fact, go to Málaga instead. – You can thank me later.
The fact that the inner city is so unwelcoming does fit me absolutely fine since I'm using this trip to do a heavy load of introspective personal development work, like I have before. But as always, there will be an article about it. Maybe even sometime this year.
