Greetings from a mountain in Tirana!
So I've been in the Albanian capital for the last three weeks. And while it hasn't been as overwhelming and action-jammed as I expected, the place definitely does have its charm, and its obvious upsides.
As you can kinda see a bit, summer lasts way into September, and it's probably not gonna stop anytime soon just 'cause I'm leaving. Also, as you can't see, but as you might figure out, it's cheap, being the Balkans and all. And as you can't see here at all, the girls are surprisingly pretty.
(Which is not a sexist, derogatory, misogynist, or offensive remark in any way. So just cool it, everyone.)
Also, the city in itself is pretty – lots of green areas; lots of new buildings, and not a lot of the squalor that you often see in the Balkans. And it's big, so there's a lot to see and do.
As always, there's an actual article in the ol' pipeline. Stay tuned.
