Greetings from a lake in Yerevan!

Having recently embarked on a deliberate tour of Caucasia, my lovely assistant and I, at the time of writing, are currently in hella hot Yerevan, Armenia.

Big city, nice and cheap, solid local beer, and some yummy local dishes. Also, even though you're probably not getting around seeing a monastery or two since those are all over the damn place, turns out the country's got some cool nature sights as well. And Armenia's a fairly small place, so you should be able to get around in a few days.

I'll put up an article about Yerevan and/or Armenia once there's peace in the Middle East, someone finds a cure for cancer, and a reggaeton artist puts out a track that doesn't insult anyone's intellect.
