Greetings from a ferris-wheel in Budapest!

I'll say it up front: Budapest is a hella fucking wicked city. Here are just some of the reasons why:

What it does lack in terms of the number of downright metal bars, it makes up for in the number of concerts every week. Apart from Visions of Atlantis, I saw a fuckton of local bands that were all surprisingly good, and also Black Stone Cherry, which hella rocked. Nice little local scene here, for sure.

What it might lack in terms of decent early-autumn weather, it does make up for in its size, architecture, and culture. There are so many cool things to see and do in Budapest, I'm not even gonna bother outlining any of them here. As always, you're gonna have to wait until the actual article.
